This bugle is unmarked and the maker is unknown. More research on this instrument is needed. This bugle is likely a “copy” made to mimic the style of E. G. Wright and Graves & Co. (who were the leading keyed bugle producers in the United States). It is similar to those by Firth, Hall & Pond, who imported bugles from Germany for the United States market. It was likely made in the mid-1800s.
