Three top-action string-operated rotary valves. The stops that limit the rotary action are on the inside of the valve casings, so you don’t see exposed corks and stop arms that are usually on rotary valves.
“XVII” marked under two of the levers.
This instrument has a wide bell and scholars might use the modern classification of “saxhorn”.
