  • Stamped (decorative engraving) HOWE MODEL / MADE BY / C.G. CONN / ELKHART / IND. on middle joint.  

  • Boehm system, gold-plated plateau keys with mother-of-pearl inlay, ebonite head joint with mother-of-pearl dots on either side of embouchure plate, ebonite crutches both present.

  • Heavy tarnish.

  • Possible inaugural year of production.
