Notes:

  • Four sections, no separate foot joint, metal-lined head joint with tuning slide, conical bore, oval-square embouchure.

  • Stamped MADE IN GERMANY / C / LP on middle joint.

  • LP on stamping indicates Low Pitch.

  • Small crack from crown to outside embouchure, previously filled. Hairline crack from embouchure to end of head joint. Crack across barrel joint, previously filled. Prior fillings starting to disintegrate.

  • Pads/corks have been replaced; possibly a playable instrument.

  • Wear marks in wood suggest it was a well-used instrument.
