Notes:

  • Conn alto saxophone that was modified by Conn designer Allen Loomis. It was designed as a prototype for Loomis’s “Double Resonance” saxophones (of which only six were made). Perhaps this instrument helped to get Loomis hired at the Conn Company, but that remains unknown.

  • Refinished by Loomis, original engraving removed.

  • One-of-a-kind, historical treasure.

  • Delicate instrument, not a finished production model.
