Notes:

  • Rare Conn 18M “Stretch” soprano. The “Stretch” soprano saxophones have a unique design that is longer and skinnier than a normal soprano. They require a special mouthpiece and can be finicky, but are excellent players. The unusual design demonstrates that the Conn research laboratory was still experimenting with fundamental parts of the saxophone design as late as the 1920s.

  • Excellent underlying condition

  • Rare burnished gold plate for “Stretch” sopranos.

  • Features standard engraving

  • Donated as part of a pair with 1929 Conn New Wonder Series II Alto Saxophone GL-209_A17-14.
