Notes:
Rare Conn 18M “Stretch” soprano. The “Stretch” soprano saxophones have a unique design that is longer and skinnier than a normal soprano. They require a special mouthpiece and can be finicky, but are excellent players. The unusual design demonstrates that the Conn research laboratory was still experimenting with fundamental parts of the saxophone design as late as the 1920s.
Excellent underlying condition
Rare burnished gold plate for “Stretch” sopranos.
