• This instrument is somewhat mysterious. It is similar to the Conn 8G and 9G Italian Model valve tenor trombones, but those models have typical piston valves with buttons while this one uses levers. Perhaps this is an experimental, modified instrument from the Conn Italian Model trombones.

• Second valve case stamped with the serial number and the union label: “UNION”, a shield icon with “MPBP / B&SW”, and “LABEL”.

• Back of the water key is stamped with “352”.
