Three sections, metal inlaid tenons, cylindrical bore, oval embouchure.
Stamped C.G. CONN / ELKHART / INDIANA (in oval cartouche) and cartouche with UNION / MRBR / B&SW / LABEL on middle joint. Serial number engraved under G-sharp and on rib.
Boehm system, gold-plated plateau keys with mother-of-pearl inlay, post and rod on ribs.
An example of Conn’s “New Invention Boehm System All Wood Flute.” This flute was in “Artist Finish” and was listed for $135 in the 1913 C. G. Conn Band and Orchestra Instruments catalogue.
