Two sections, no separate foot joint, ebonite head joint with embouchure plate, metal bore, oval embouchure.
Stamped MADE BY / C.G. CONN / ELKHART / IND. and UNION / MRBR / B&SW / LABEL on middle joint. Serial number engraved under G-sharp. “H” engraved on rib. Heavily faded gold embossed eagle trademark on head joint.
Boehm system, gold-plated plateau keys, post and rod on ribs, ebonite crutches (thumb missing).
An example of the “Conn Wonder Flute.” This exact finish is not found in either 1904 or 1906 catalogues (1905 catalogue is unavailable), suggesting a possible custom order; similar configurations listed between $70 and $100.
