Inner and outer slides stamped with serial number. Bell slide receiver and main tuning slide stamped with serial number.
The patent number “PAT. 2533388” is stamped in very tiny characters on the inner slide where the slide is inserted into the bell. This patent number is associated with a “side mounted trombone water key” invented by Fred N. Meyers under the H. N. White Company. The patent was filed on 12/13/1947 and issued on 12/12/1950.
